Aptly named, this vehicle is perfect for cruising the island in comfort. As a family of 4 visiting from Ontario we needed all of the camping gear included and the hosts happily accommodated our needs. Just add fuel and food and let the adventures begin.

The vehicle was awesome--a rugged, well-equipped 4x4 vehicle that will get you anywhere, and in style! Absolutely loved the island cruiser, and the tent was so easy to setup (e.g. unzip the cover, pull the ladder down, and you have your bed for the night). Aiman was really great too: gave a few suggestions of where to go/what to see, and thought of pretty much everything to be included in the camping equipment (e.g. corkscrew, french press, lantern, extra bedding+pillows, etc.). Would absolutely rent this vehicle out again!

The vehicle was just as we expected. The rooftop tent was nice (a bit tricky to close) and all the items provided by the owner were very practical.

Not an ideal place experience over all. There was no gas at all in the car like it could stop at anytime while picking up. The owner not in sight and I had to pick the keys from a pad lock. A big empty hole on dash as entertainment system was removed , good luck when ur stuck in no cell coverage for radio updates during wild fires. The air conditioner does not work at all. Car could hardly make from Jasper to Vancouver, I had to stop in Kamloops overnight due to heating issues. Owner hardly gets back while on trip for any questions and this was not insured by outdoorsy at all as what was told contrary before booking. The roof top tent ion this car s very not user friendly and you have to climb up on roof everytime to open or close it... Lastly, forget your deposit of 500$ due to false claims as what you discuss during the return comparing to what actually happens after. Try getting a full camper for that price.

Try learning something positive out of this experience. Something that could maybe help you not lose anymore damage deposits...
