Purpose: Collects all wastewater from the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower.
Feature: Designed with waterless waste valves to prevent odors from coming up through the drains.Black Water Tank Capacity: 15 gallons
Purpose: Collects human waste and flush water exclusively from the onboard toilet.
Feature: Mounted above the floor to protect against freezing and utilises heating pads. Perfect for winter exploring!Maintenance & Emptying:
Macerator System: Instead of a standard thick sewer hose, our van uses a power-retractable waste hose and a macerator pump. This grinds solid waste and pumps it out through a smaller-diameter hose for easier disposal.There is a 445W solar power system with a 1000W inverter and a 200Ah lithium-ion battery. You have the option to plug in for 15A or 30A service at your campsite. There is also an onboard generator if needed. -- We find that we have more than enough power with the solar, unless you have a lot of tree cover that is blocking UV or too much overcast. If this is the case, an onboard propane generator can make power.To use the microwave you do need to be plugged into 30amp service.There is seating for four in the van with four seat belts.

4.0The Ric Flairstream is a comfortable and well equipped van with a very comfortable bed. We enjoy cooking and eating outside in good weather so we were appreciative of the included Coleman camp stove. Joline was a welcoming host and took time to orient us to the vehicle. A manual with checklists would have been helpful.

5.0Joline and her partner were lovely to work with and their van Ric Flairstream was in perfect working order. We're experienced RVers and found they had enough equipment to make our trip comfortable without being overcrowded. The van handles well and is a reasonable size for the opportunities and amenities available on the island - a larger one would have been doable, but less enjoyable. The owners were also easy to work with for scheduling pick up and drop off. If the need arose, we'd be happy to rent from them again.
