What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

NAS Oceana Skeet & Trap Range is the pick up and drop off location. It is open to the public and there are no ID requirements to enter this part of the base. I can arrange for a different location as long as there is enough room to park the RV for key turnover such as a stadium or other large parking lot. We can discuss these arrangements during booking.

Will you deliver and set up to a home residence?

A.

No. the camper runs on 30 AMP power. Most home electrical systems will not handle the power requirements to run the A/C in the unit without tripping a household breaker and possibly damaging the A/C unit. Also most localities have ordinances in place forbidding driveway or backyard camping.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Prior to departure I will walk through all the systems and operation of the unit including hooking and unhooking to your tow vehicle and proper leveling if you are towing it. If your tow vehicle does not have a factory installed brake controller, I'll provide you with one at no cost (safety first) and show you how to use it.

Will you deliver to a campsite?

A.

Yes, depending on the distance. I deliver and setup at no cost within 50 miles of NAS Oceana. Anything over 50 miles will incur an additional fuel charge of at least $100.00. If delivery includes crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, an addition fee to cover the toll will be added to your rental cost. Currently that fee is $80.00
