Host and RV was great

Luke was good at communication. RV worked perfectly for what we needed it for.

This is a good RV to rent if it is going to save you money. I would consider this a "budget rental" RV due to age and condition. I will start with the cons and end with the pros. While the rental was functional overall, our experience was disappointing due to numerous maintenance, cleanliness, and safety issues that should have been addressed before pickup. We were informed in advance that the slide-out required manual operation and that there was a crack in the windshield, so those were expected. However, we also discovered that the horn did not work, which is a significant safety concern. Beyond that, several items were broken or in poor condition, including a non-functional kitchen drawer, a broken interior step leading to the bathroom/bedroom, an exterior step that was barely attached, a screen door that would not stay closed, and a kitchen light that failed completely during our trip. The trailer was also not cleaned prior to our arrival, it appeared to have not been properly swept or mopped, the bathroom still had urine on the toilet seat, all surfaces needed to be disinfected, and the cutting boards had visible black and green mold that required bleaching before use. Nearly every cabinet was filled with random leftover items and trash from previous renters, forcing us to reorganize the trailer just to create usable storage space. Even the bedroom storage area was so cluttered with loosely stuffed linens that we had to reorganize it ourselves. While we were still able to use the trailer, we spent a considerable amount of time cleaning, organizing, and dealing with maintenance issues that should have been resolved before the rental was provided. I did request a discount due to all the above but was only reimbursed the cleaning fee of $100. Pros: The main reason I booked with Luke was because he did not nickel and dime for extra item. After booking he was easy to communicate with prior to picking up the RV. The rental drove fine and the appliances all worked.
