EmpfehlungenDefinitely check out Icicle Road, lots of camping and beautiful pullouts all along it with endless river and Mountain View’s!
Hike the enchantments while you’re there, you won’t regret it!Download the iOverlander app and find spots ALL over that others have successfully camped at for free/paid campgrounds. It also shows where there is fresh water/showers/recycling, etc.
Fresh sponge/Dr. Bronners dish/body/hand soap/dish scrubber/paper towels/garbage bags.Weitere wichtige DingePlease keep the temperature on the cylinder temp gauge beneath 445 at all times! She is an air cooled engine and will overheat and ruin the engine if ran too hot. My max speed at the top of Stevens pass is about 25 mph in second gear. 😅No shoes on the bed please. Please occasionally sweep up/out dirt on the wood floor.Make sure the canvas pop up is fully pulled in when closing the top, and out of the way of the latch. Please do not SLAM the slider door open.. there is a piece on the top of the door that flies out if you do, and it takes two strong people to put it back in place for the door to be able to shut properly without damaging it.
You do have to slam it shut JUST the right way (not the original door) so that it can lock, if it doesn’t lock, that means you have to open it up and slam it again. Do not use the INSIDE handle to shut it. Rather, use the edge of the window to get leverage. PLEASE watch your fingers and everyone else’s!Please close the zipper canvas windows before shutting the pop top. Please shut off the ceiling fan before shutting the lid. Please make sure lid is all the way closed before driving.***Keep van in first gear when you turn the car off. The e-brake barely works.*** chalk the tires with chock blocks as well.
