Towards Brownwood there is a very nice park at Hord's Creek. Fishing there is always enjoyable. In the Brownwood area there is Lake Brownwood State Park as well as other campgrounds. Further away (about a 6-hour drive West is Fort Davis State Park, a beautiful mountain park that is breathtaking. we try to go there for at least 2 weeks every year. The McDonald Observatory is nearby and worth the trip.Weitere wichtige DingeThe trailer weighs about 9,000 lbs. when loaded. Your tow vehicle will need to be able to tow that weight. We tow the trailer with our Ram 1500. It will also need an electric brake controller installed in the truck.
The trailer has a single Black water sewer hose connection but, there are two Gray water connections - one for the shower and one for the sinks in the kitchen and bath. This allows you longer showers but it is an extra tank to empty. We will show you how the dump systems work as well as show you all the other systems on the trailer. We will also provide a "cheat sheet" on working with the systems.
We welcome pets but insist on NO Smoking in the trailer.
For Pickups and Returns we are flexible with the exception of Sunday returns: No returns until after Noon.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

If the trailer is available prior to or not rented the next day we can work out something. If it's just running late on return, a phone call to let us know what is going on is sufficient. Just stay in touch so we don't worry about you! IF YOU DON'T CALL US WHEN YOU ARE LATE, WE WILL DEFINETLY GIVE YOU A CALL!

Are there any pet restrictions?
A.
The only restriction is your pet must have all of their shots that campgrounds require. Also, make sure that you watch out over your pet. All of the seating surfaces are leather and may be hot for your pet to sleep on. Please bring a crate for your pet if they have separation anxiety. Bring their favorite blanket to sleep on and some of their toys so they feel comfortable. If you need an extra leash or other pet equipment let us know. We want you and your pet to have a wonderful experience.
