Easy driving, highway noise
The 2022 Storyteller Overland Stealth was exceptionally well-stocked and equipped, featuring a spacious, adaptable layout and effective climate control. It was noted as easy to drive, though off-road tires made it noisy at highway speeds. Van was clean, comfortable, and in pristine condition.

5.0Sarah was very responsive and helpful both before and during the trip. Her van was exceptionally well stocked with amenities and emergency equipment. We didn’t use most of it because we kept our cooking simple. The layout worked very well for our needs, with a dog, lots of equipment, and bikes. We carried the bikes on a 1UP rack with a swinging RakAttach. The rear step would not have allowed the 1UP to fit without the RakAttach extension. The rear cargo area under the bed was very spacious, although organization was somewhat difficult. Most of our gear ended up in a large pile that was hard to access from either end. The van does have a system for flipping the bed sections toward the walls, which would improve access; we simply didn’t use it. Sliding drawers would be another possible improvement. The open layout otherwise makes sense for a rental because it accommodates a wide range of uses. The aggressive off-road tires that come stock on Storyteller vans made the van quite noisy at highway speeds. The climate control worked very well, including providing cooling for our dog during a 90-minute ride in the sun.

5.0I have always wanted a Storyteller van so figured this would be the perfect opportunity to test one out. I was very lucky to find the exact model I am interested in and I couldn't be more happy with the process. Sarah as a host was exceptional--immediate responses to questions and lots of useful info provided in a packet she provides at pickup. She also stocks "Dawn" with everything could possibly need from kitchen utensils to bedding to water/electrical hookups. Dawn operated flawlessly on my trip from Washington to Idaho and was the main attraction amongst my friends at the campsite. This is the only way to camp and until I someday get a Storyteller of my own, I will definitely be in touch with Sarah/Dawn. Thanks!
