If you don't use a hook-up you won't have AC, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.For dry camping (no RV hook-ups) we highly recommend booking a National Forest campsite thru www.recreation.gov. The US Forest Service has many more campsites than the national parks and state parks, and typically have more availability during high volume seasons.The fridge, TV, DVD player, lights and water heater run on the trailer's 12V batteries.To use the AC, microwave, coffee maker or toaster while dry camping you'll need to use the generator.
