You want to make your trip memorable and see more of Australia than your typical tourist trail, this is the camper to do it in. Every trip is an adventure, you make friends where ever you go and passers by wave and smile.Our custom built 1990 6x6 Land Rover Defender, one of a small number built, was completely refurbished and converted to a campervan for 2 in 2015. Explore Queensland in a vehicle built for the outback.With built in fridge freezer, solar, LED lights, gas stove, sink (with 80litre water tank) and even a webber BabyQ you have the creature comforts to make camping comfortable, in place others could only dream about!A great combination of old-school mechanical muscle and modern comforts.Keep in mind, this is a 30 year old military designed vehicle - it is slow, noisy and has no A/C but what it lacks we think it more than makes up for in general awesomeness.GVM 4495 kgPlease contact me if you wish to take the vehicle on to the beach (Bribie Island, Noosa North Shore, North Stradbroke Island) - additional cleaning fee for taking the camper on the beach / salt water.
Given the soft sand, narrow tracks and high risk conditions, the camper can not be taken to Fraser Island.Happy to help with itineraries for a great combos of beach, hinterland, river crossings and roads that only locals would know.The closest train station to us is Ferny Grove, happy to pick up from there for no cost, or arrange pick up from further afield. We live on an acre, right on a river, if you wanted to arrive the evening prior to your booking, you are welcome to stay in the camper and before setting off the next day.Check out more photos on our instagram page
