Southwest

Views all around at Springs at Borrego RV Resort and Golf Course.

The Southwest includes the open horizons of RV friendly states like Arizona and California, which means there’s a lot to choose from. A great place to start is Springs at Borrego RV Resort and Golf Course near San Diego. This luxury venue is located in the vast  Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and is officially designated as a Dark Sky community.

Enjoy the scenic big skies and desert vistas of Arizona at the upscale Gnew Canyon RV and Golf Resort. For a more dramatic landscape, check out Zion River Resort, only a few miles from Zion National Park in Utah.

Southeast

This sprawling expanse of big skies and long highways is dominated by the state of Texas, where the Mill Creek Ranch Resort is located.

This park can accommodate any size of RV and encompasses more than 200 acres of relaxing outdoor activities. Keep going even further south and experience a whole other environment at Camp Gulf, an RV resort right on a white sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. Head north along the Atlantic Coast to Cypress Camping Resort in South Carolina, which combines the beauty of South Myrtle Beach with the historic Intracoastal Waterway.

So much to do at Cypress RV and Camping Resort.

Northwest

Welcome to the land of the Rocky Mountains, an area that’s just as active in the winter as it is in the summer. For a stellar view of the snowy peaks from up close, visit the Tiger Run Resort in the rocky slopes of Breckenridge.

If you prefer the ebb of the ocean rather than a Rocky Mountain high, head to the coast to see what really defines the Pacific Northwest. Stay on a place right on the seaside at Sea Perch RV Resort and Oceanfront Villas on the coast of Oregon. Go even further northwest and take a ferry to Washington’s San Juan Islands to find Lakedale Resort, a unique island park at the very edge of the continental U.S.

Northeast

A region dominated by the Great Lakes and the bustling East Coast, you can use your RV to discover both city and country living. There are several RV resorts and parks throughout New York State, and one of the most renowned is Lake George RV Park, which actually has its own lake among many other upscale amenities.

To get a close look at lake country, stay at the Oak Grove Campground and Resort, which is walking distance to both Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan. For a view from farther north, along with a buffet brunch and a few table games, stop by the Hinckley Grand Casino a few hours north of Minneapolis, which hosts a number of hotels and accommodation options in addition to a luxury RV resort.

Whether you’re a dedicated tiny home on wheels lifestyle or someone who just likes the occasional road trip, you can find a pretty amazing RV resort in every corner of the country. Find your perfect rental, fire up the GPS, and get ready to cross another one off your bucket list.
